Like Mother, Like Daughter

I walked into Clara's room a few days ago and saw this. I started laughing because it looked funny, but also because it reminded me of when Candice and I used to play with our barbies. My mom always said we'd have a child just like us. I'm afraid for Clara to grow up.

This makes me laugh really, really hard. It takes me back to a simplier life when all I had to do to get some new "free" Barbie clothes was wait until you left the room & then sit on a small pile of your clothes until I could manage to get them in my pockets. I think I still owe you a ball gown, a tennis outfit & some Skipper pajamas. Ha ha... just kidding. I guess we do deserve what we get with our kids. We were naughty little youngsters.

Thanks for keeping the post between PG and PG-13. Heather, you stole our clothes too? I thought it was us stealing yours.

Maren, why do you only have blonde barbies? Do you not believe in teaching your children about diversity? I just remembered you do have a dark Ken- that's a start. Im afraid for Maya to grow up too. We've got it comin to us.

I got rid of the dark Ken after I saw the Christmas pictures.

What kind of performance are those barbie's doing for a audience of of mermaid's and ponies.
Look at the face on the little bo peep in the mirror. She looks horrified.

That is too funny! I think I would have laughed pretty hard if I had walked in on that...I am sure Mia will do some of those same things before long! Can't wait! Ü

That is so hilarious. What kind of Las Vegas-esque show was she having those dolls put on?

There poses are right on, though.

I love it. Can't wait to add some girlyness to my house.

That is way too funny, i can remember playing barbies and I think the Naylors felt bad for me, they gave me all of their girls barbie stuff, I hit the jackpot!

Livvy just came in and saw this picture, she said "who put those Barbies like that" I think she was just amazed they could stand on their own. She admires Clara's skillz

Hahaha oh that's rich. I don't REALLY know what you and Candice ever did with barbies, since you never let me play with you, but I can imagine. Good ol' Clara following in your footsteps.
