After my Utah trip, I was home for a day, then off to Las Vegas with Derek for a convention he had- it's been quite the relaxing week! I was missing the kids after being away so long though. Maybe because I'm used to having a busy day and I was by myself for 3 days. I made good use of my time while Derek was at meetings during the day and shopped, shopped, shopped! Derek was laughing at me because I got blisters on my feet from all the walking! We also got to go see KA, one of the Cirque shows- it was AMAZING! The dancing, music, and costumes were incredible.

We got home Friday just in time for Clara's dance recital. I was amazed at how well she did- I thought she would get up on stage and freeze. She was one of the least animated at the beginning, but then she got into it. I'll try to post the video I took.

Fun, fun, fun! If anything, I hope it was relaxing. It probably took a bit of time adjusting to what you were supposed to do with yourself without 3 kids & 2 Great Danes. I want to see some of your cute new purchases. Welcome home you southwest traveler!
All the shopping, sign me up, no kids, oh boy! I bet your blisters were worth it, because of all your fabulous finds, right? Clara looks so cute, dancing girls are just darling, what fun stuff!
Well, I hope I will forgive you for going without me soon, because we have to go back. I am going to lose sleep tonight over your JCrew outlet dresses.
How fun, it is always nice to have that time with your hubby and no kids. We did that last year when Travis had a convention in Vegas. I took full advantage of the pool at the hotel and soaked up some rays. Clara is adorable dancing.
