Last weekend we celebrated our 7th anniversary. It was my year to plan, so we went to Sedona and it was so much fun! Many thanks to my mom and Candice for watching our kids. I had the great idea to take the arctic cat (the contraption you see behind us) and of course Derek was thrilled because I don't like to go out in it very often.
When we got there, we drove up to the airport which is on a hill, and this was the view from the top.
Our hotel was having a car show on the golf course which was a bonus because Derek loves, loves cars. It rained for a couple hours in the morning which put a damper on things, but then the sun came out and it was beautiful!
Us sitting in the arctic cat waiting for the rain to stop. Derek made this roof out of one of our old umbrella covers- it worked pretty well!

Happy Anniversary! Sorry I'm a bad sister and didn't even remember until Candice told me she was watching your kids. Your pictures are awesome! I can't wait for our Cali trip!
That looks like so much fun! Cute pictures :)
Happy Anniversary! I love that you guys actually take turns planning something! Such a great idea! Perhaps if Seth and I adopt that idea we won't be remembering that it is our anniversary the night before. :-) Those are the joys of getting married three days after Christmas. You guys look great and still blissfully wed!
Maren - your blog is so dang cute! Good pictures too. Chad and I went to Sedona in July for our anniversary! I just started our blog - so check it out http://oloughinfam.blogspot.com - you can connect to Sarah from there too. Lets go get some lunch some time! Call me!
Happy Anniversary! What a great idea! I'm sure Derek loved it.
Oh happy days with hubbies (well technically hubby) & rain. :) Oh boy! How romantic. I love Sedona in all its red rock splendor. Gorgeous!
I'm glad you guys had a good time. Happy 7th! Hopefully there will be no itching. :)
I am glad your 7th was the luckiest. Happy Anniversary! I don't even want to ask about Heather's comment.
Don't be crude Candice. I suppose I could see how it could be taken. Let me explain:
It's been said around the 7th anniversary, some tend to get the 7-year-itch. Referring to a rough patch, a lull, a rut.
Now who's got their mind in the repulsive gutter?
Apology accepted. :)
Isn't Sedona so romantic? that airport restaurant is dang good too! Look s wonderful.
Sarah,

How fun!! One of these years we are going to do something fun for our anniversary--though I can't complain because I got to go home with BEAUTIFUL flowers from you on our annivesary this year!!
I'm so jealous of your trip... And that you look so good after 7 years of marriage and 3 adorable children. Lucckkyyy.
I just said this on Candice's blog, but you guys should totally come to a party at my Mom's this weekend with shirts, jeans, purses, holiday decor, etc! Everyone's invited, so come and hang out with us!
