Comfort Food

I promised myself I wouldn't post pictures of places or things that I liked, but looking at other people's blogs is so interesting and I love to see what kinds of things other people enjoy. So on the subject of food, there is nothing I'd rather have than pizza from La Grande Orange and gelato from Arlecchino's right next door. Guaranteed to be the best pizza and gelato you've ever had. I know some people were posting about the Gelato Spot in Scottsdale, but trust me, this is better!

Beer, wine, and cocktails??? Yeah, I'm sure you like the pizza. :o) Both of those places sound delicious!! I'm always up for trying a new restaurant. We should go next time we're in Mesa.

Maren, you seriously need to start getting paid to do their publicity.

I could go for a big slice of avocado pizza and a tall ice cold beer right now. With ice, in a glass. I can practically taste the strawberry and chocolate gelato just thinking about it!!!

I would love to forward this to your dad Candice Marie. :) You should probably call your sponsor.

Dangit- you figured me out. I do love to go for the alcohol. (I really tried to get a picture of their logo without it saying beer wine and cocktails, but I guess that's what they're known for.)

The first thing I saw when I pulled up your blog today (while I was blog stalking) was the "beer, wine, and cocktails" too! So funny.

Anyway, post some pictures of your house up here! I've heard it's super cute inside. Sorry my pics were so dark- but oh yes, you have seen it before.

I have never heard about gelato until recently - on everyone's blogs! Can you explain what it is? Also, I have been craving some good, cheesy, greasy pizza. What can this pizza be compared to? I need to try these places! (And are they far?)

They're in Phoenix- I wanna say 40th Street just north of Indian School Rd. Kinda far, but you won't regret it! The pizza is a thin crust and I'm not sure what to compare it to because it's so much better than anything else. Maybe Vito's? And the gelato is so light, not heavy like ice cream. Everything is 100% natural unlike other gelato places. I'm making myself sound like a healthy eater, but I'm the queen of junk food!(next to Shalae)

I think you should post a list of yummy places you've tried in AZ. You guys go to the most unique and most delicious places- we would all benefit from your recommendations!

Wow sounds so good Maren! We are very deprived as far as restaurants go, here in Kirksville. One more reason to look forward to coming to AZ this summer.

Hmmm, gelato. I hope it is comparable to Italy gelato, and then I will become a regular. Phoenix, here I come! Thanks for the tip Maren.
